HOST A HIRING EVENT

Let us take the stress out of hiring! Hiring shouldn’t be a hassle and that’s why we’ll bring the event to you or arrange it elsewhere. Hiring events are an excellent way to meet many of our qualified candidates. Plus, our potential candidates can complete an application prior to the event, saving precious time.

  • Inspire our Team Members to visualize themselves in your industry. Invite them to tour your business and get an overview of opportunities or invite them to an internal training with your team.
  • Mentor a Team Member through the interview process – Offer your expertise to someone who is actively looking for employment but never makes it past the interview.
HOST A POVERTY SIMULATION FOR YOUR EMPLOYERS

Help change the perception of homelessness by getting some new perspective on what it’s like to be homeless. In a poverty simulation, you and your team will will be thrust into a world many of us are unfamiliar with: living in poverty. This experience is designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month. Following the simulation we will have a debrief, our Team Members will share their stories about being homeless.

The goal: Walk away from the experience with a new sense of what it means to live through the daily struggle of homelessness.

 

 

Did you know?

In 2013 we hosted a concert at the San Jose Civic featuring music legends Joan Baez, Jackson Browne and Emmylou Harris.  They played pro bono and we raised nearly $350,000 to help end homelessness.
